MOH VI final conference booklet and travel information

The final programme and the conference booklet of the Making of the Humanities VI conference in Oxford can be accessed here.

Registration will take place in the Flora Anderson Hall at Somerville College (this will be clearly signed once you reach the college). Please note that the registration desk will open at 8.15 am on 28 September.  There will also be a detailed map with the conference rooms available at registration.

The address is:  Somerville College, Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6HD

For anyone who wishes to come on foot from the centre of town, the college is easily walkable from the city centre. Follow St Giles until it becomes the Banbury Rd (the right hand road of the two that fork off from St Giles at its northern end). Go left there and continue on Woodstock Road. You will find Somerville on the left c. 200m on from the corner of St Giles and Little Clarendon St.

MOHVI pre-final conference booklet online!

We are proud to announce the conference booklet for the upcoming The Making of Humanities VI conference in Oxford, Somerville College, 28-30 September 2017. The booklet contains an updated program, all abstracts, a list of all participants and maps with the precise conference locations. Apart from possible minor changes we expect the booklet to be final. ‘The Making of the Humanities VI’ (Oxford): Registration and Provisional Program

‘The Making of the Humanities’ (MOH) is the Society’s annual meeting. The forthcoming MOH-VI conference will be held at the University of Oxford, Somerville College, September 28-30, 2017. With 123 accepted papers for presentation and three keynote speakers this will be the largest MOH conference to date.

Registration: To register, please follow this link. Note that you have to register both as a member of the Society (if you are not a member yet) and for the Oxford conference.

Program: A provisional program has already been drafted based on the accepted papers and panels. You can find it here.

Graduate Student Paper Award: During the closing session on September 30 the winner of the Graduate Student Paper Award will be announced.
